About me
I am a psychotherapy & counselling student at the PATH Center in Jerusalem. As part of my student placement I am taking on clients ONLINE or IN-PERSON (in Kfar Saba). I can work with you in English or in German.
Before training as a counsellor I had a full career as an executive in tech companies. I am also an IFS practictioner, a certified coach, a certified parenting educator and trauma-informed. I am married and a mother of 2. Our family is multi-cultural and multi-lingual, stretching across three countries, cultures and languages. I was born and raised in Germany, lived in Ireland for many years and am now based in Ra'anana, Israel with my husband and our two children. At home we speak English, German and Hebrew.
Get in touch
If there is a part of you that is interested, just reach out to me at miriam@becoming-connected.com. We can have a chat and see if we think that this might be a good fit for you. There is no obligation to continue after this chat.
*While I am a student I do not charge for these sessions, but the PATH Center charges clients 50 nis/session to support the supervision services that I receive.
These are difficult times for everyone. I offer an opportunity to speak and seek support in a safe environment for a minimal fee*.
How we can work together
I believe that, in order to get through difficult periods and to ultimately thrive in life, it is important for every person to have a safe space to bring their most difficult thoughts and feelings to. I work to create a safe, non-judgemental therapeutic relationship with you, where you can explore your experiences, challenges and feelings freely.
Together we explore which therapeutic methods work best for you. I work with an integrative approach that draws from various therapeutic methods and theories. As a qualified practitioner of Internal Family Systems (IFS) I particularly love working with inner parts and find this to be a powerful approach. Additionally, I work based on a client-centered humanistic approach, informed by attachment theory and trauma awareness and depending on the client I can offer the use of CBT tools, solution-focused therapy and somatic elements.
I am open to working with all issues including, but not limited to wanting to:

-

get help with feelings of sadness & hopelessness
-
develop & maintain healthy relationships
-
